    delicious breakfast

    Good intentions, flawed execution

Delicious breakfast with a varied menu, accompanied by stunning ocean views from the rooftop terrace. Friendly staff who genuinely care about your comfort!

The swimming pool felt a bit overcrowded at times, limiting relaxation opportunities. Accessing the hotel requires navigating a steep drive, which can be challenging.

    no refrigerator

The view from the rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset!

Unfortunately, the lack of a small refrigerator in the room was a downside for keeping drinks cool.

    missing amenities

The Family Room description didn’t match what we were given, lacking the promised three full beds and amenities like a wet bar and refrigerator. Also, the absence of a small fridge in the Double Room was quite inconvenient, especially when it came to keeping drinks cool.

    disappointing beach
    short stay

Maya Vista served some of the tastiest eats around! We absolutely devoured their delicious breakfasts that fueled our adventures. The view from the rooftop bar was legendary, especially at sunset – just breathtaking!

Very disappointed with Tela beach, it's disgusting! Thankfully, Hotel Maya had all we wished for. We only stayed one night but would happily stay longer. the atmosphere made every moment shine.

    room discrepancy

This spot is fantastic for families! The refreshing small pool was a hit with our kids. We enjoyed the amazing views from the terrace, especially during breakfast. The warm weather made our stay perfect, and we loved the tasty food served throughout our visit.

My wife says that the family room we booked didn't match the description.

    great views but steep access

The Double Room was spotless and offered a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea. The rooftop terrace provided an amazing atmosphere for dining, showcasing stunning sunsets that became the highlight of our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Additionally, enjoying cocktails at the terrace while watching the waves was a delightful experience.

Accessing the hotel involved navigating a steep incline, which could be challenging after a long day exploring.

    spacious room
    delicious food
    steep access
    crowded pool
    limited relaxation

The spacious double room was immaculate, thanks to the diligent cleaning staff who ensured everything was perfect daily. Dining on the rooftop terrace with its stunning Caribbean views was a highlight, complemented by delicious gyu-don dishes. However, accessing the hotel posed challenges due to steep inclines, which may be taxing for some. The small pool often felt crowded, limiting relaxation options during peak times.

The Double Room was super clean and had AC, which was a lifesaver in the heat. We loved the view from our room. it was breathtaking! The beds were pretty comfortable too. The small pool was refreshing after a day out, but it got a bit crowded. Overall, a nice spot to relax after exploring Tela.
